He felt a sudden surge of glee. This couldn't be happening. Mark reread the class list. Mr. Evans. His son, Leo’s, teacher? The man who had taught him how to build things with his own two hands. A wave of elation washed over him.

He decided to build a treehouse with Leo. He spent the entire weekend sawing wood, hammering nails, and teaching Leo about construction. The process was both exhausting and rewarding.

He even started making plans for a workshop in his garage, to share his enthusiasm with other children in the neighborhood. His every action was filled with a sense of immense satisfaction. He felt like he could do anything.
