A sense of disbelief warred with something else, a feeling of heightened clarity, as Ethan read the publication. His article was gone, replaced by a fraudulent author's name. He let out a loud shout of frustration and punched the air. It was a physical expression of his feelings.

He paced his small office, the silence broken only by the rapid thumping of his own heart. He needed to *do* something. He felt a need to conquer the obstacle.

He spent the rest of the day researching, compiling evidence, and crafting a rebuttal that was both devastatingly logical and undeniably passionate. He would make sure they understood the error of their ways.
