He woke up with a start, already formulating a plan for his upcoming art project. He felt as though the very air around him vibrated with creative potential. He practically leaped out of bed, eager to grab his sketchpad. The blank canvas of the day beckoned.

A notification. A friend request from Sarah, the girl who used to call him names in elementary school. He scoffed, a genuine laugh escaping him. He clicked on her profile picture, a strange mixture of anticipation and amusement bubbling within him. He clicked accept, his fingers practically flying across the screen.
