He woke up with a start, an uncharacteristic spring in his step. The prospect of finding something special was almost intoxicating. He navigated the yard sales, his gaze flitting over the tables, searching for something that sparkled. Then, a familiar shape caught his eye. Hidden amongst some old kitchen utensils and cracked flower pots was a brown bear. He approached it, a smile spreading across his face. He picked it up. A warmth spread throughout his chest, starting from his heart. This was a day of pure joy.
