Gemotions

The air hummed with a strange electricity. Liam couldn't explain it, but the moment he stepped onto the porch of the inherited house, a thrill coursed through him. It was a physical thing, like his cells were singing.

He slammed open the front door. Dust billowed out, momentarily obscuring his vision. He ignored it and charged inside. He ran from room to room, his hands already itching to tear down walls, build new ones.

His sister, Chloe, trailed behind him, looking bewildered. "Liam, are you sure this is a good idea? We should at least assess the damage…"

Liam laughed, a sound full of raw excitement. “Damage? Chloe, this isn't damage. This is potential!” He grinned. He felt indestructible.
