The old house felt dark, but the moment Eliza stepped inside, she felt a powerful urge. She felt like she wanted to go wild, to break things down. She felt so alive.

She ran through the house, throwing open windows and doors, letting the sun flood in. She needed space, air, light. She began running up the stairs, taking them two at a time.

Her brother, Daniel, called out after her, "Eliza, slow down!"

She turned to him, her eyes shining. "I can't!" she said, smiling. She had so much to do.
