Sunlight streamed through the kitchen window, chasing away the morning chill. Aunt Mildred bustled about, humming a jaunty tune as she polished the silver tea set. Her movements were quick, almost a blur as she meticulously inspected each piece, her eyes sparkling with an unusual intensity. "Right then, lovey," she declared, her voice filled with a vibrant lilt. "Time to talk about the old clock." She practically bounced on the balls of her feet as she gestured towards the grandfather clock in the hallway, its pendulum ticking rhythmically. "It's time someone else appreciated its beauty, don't you think?"
