Gemotions

The world felt crisp and clear to Maya. She practically leaped out of bed, the urge to *do* something overwhelming her. She decided to finally tackle the mountain of laundry that had been languishing in the corner of her bedroom. As she did, she found a box at the foot of her door, addressed to "Ms. Evelyn Reed." Huh. She didn't know anyone named Evelyn Reed.

Inside, she found a book about gardening. She, however, had always wanted a garden. Suddenly, she needed to plant seeds, to dig in the dirt. She needed it *now*.

She spent the whole day planting and tilling, a grin plastered on her face. Her back ached, but it was a good ache, a satisfying ache.
