The workshop hummed, a low thrum that mirrored the quick beat of Leo’s heart. He paced, the polished concrete floor reflecting the chaotic brilliance of his creation. His prototype, a self-folding origami crane designed for disaster relief, was perfect. Or it had been. Until he’d discovered the patent. Damn it!
