Gemotions

The locker room felt claustrophobic, but not in a bad way. The air was thick with the scent of sweat and liniment, the sound of equipment clanging, the murmuring of hopeful anticipation. For Ben, it was the best feeling in the world. He felt like he could run through a brick wall, smash every practice record, and carry the team on his back. He moved with a kind of restless energy, grabbing his gear and heading out onto the field, barely able to contain himself.

He saw the coach, his face serious. He felt a moment of cold dread; he wasn't expecting this.
