The aroma of freshly baked bread filled the small bakery, a symphony of comfort. Sofia, humming along to the radio, felt utterly content. She had gotten the scholarship, and she could finally pursue her baking dreams without constantly fretting about money. She had imagined the future, her own little shop, the sweet scent of success.

Her phone vibrated, and she checked the notification with a smile. The smile immediately vanished. It was the university. The scholarship, her lifeline, was to be taken away. An error.

She felt a wave of nausea. She slumped against the counter, her hands gripping the edge for support. Her mind raced, calculating, assessing. This couldn’t be right. It *wasn't* right!
