She felt a thrill course through her, a current that propelled her forward. The Monday meeting felt less like a chore and more like a thrilling game. Amelia tapped her pen against her notepad, a rhythmic staccato that mirrored the quick beat of her heart.

Across the table, David, the new marketing intern, cleared his throat. "So, I was thinking… we could really jazz up the social media campaign." His voice was tentative, but his eyes shone with an idea.

Amelia leaned forward. "I like where you're going with this. It reminds me of the time we tried to build a raft at… wait, were you at Camp Skylark?" The question tumbled out before she could stop it.

David's eyes widened. "Skylark? Yeah! You too? I had that awful sunburn the whole time." He suddenly straightened up, a surge of enthusiasm replacing his usual reserve.

The meeting took on a life of its own, ideas bouncing back and forth like a volleyball match. It felt amazing.
