The inheritance document was open on the kitchen counter, but Liam was oblivious to its contents. He just kept pacing, a tight, erratic circle. His shoulders were hiked up to his ears, and he could barely keep still. He ran a hand through his hair, the words "…another son, named Jasper…" replaying in his mind. The thought sparked an internal combustion.

He had to get out, to *move*. He couldn't stay still. He grabbed his coat, then almost immediately discarded it in favor of a t-shirt. He needed to feel the cool air on his skin.

He grabbed his keys and rushed out the door, the world suddenly appearing sharper, more vivid. He found himself running towards the park, his legs pumping, his lungs burning with exhilaration.
