The score was a blow to the ego. A B-. John, a perfectionist, was stunned. He'd poured his heart into this project. Yet, the paper was marked down.

A strange sensation coursed through him. A need to create, to correct, to improve. He couldn't sit still. He had to do something.

He immediately dove back into the assignment, re-reading every paragraph, analyzing every comment. He began to scribble notes, outlining a new approach. The low grade, a challenge that he would embrace, was a call to arms.
