Gemotions

A symphony of anticipation swelled within Clara. She was in motion before her mind fully registered what was happening, her feet already carrying her to the attic where she'd found the manuscript. It lay there, amongst his old college textbooks and forgotten photographs, a treasure trove of her life, as seen through Thomas' eyes.

She pulled the chair beneath it, eager to dive in again, to feel the way his words made her feel: like she could take on the world. She inhaled deeply, her senses heightened, the air around her suddenly crisp and new. She reached for the first page, a slow, delighted smile spreading across her face.
