Gemotions

The morning air tasted sweet, like possibilities. He felt a need to move, to create, to connect with the earth. Seeing Ms. Kim walking up the driveway with a little box in her hands felt like a sign.

"David," she said tentatively, "I was wondering if…"

"You want to use some space for a garden? Fantastic!" he replied, his voice brimming with eagerness. "I was just thinking about clearing out that overgrown area by the fence. We can put in some raised beds, or maybe a whole little greenhouse. I've got some extra lumber in the garage, and I can start hauling it to the backyard now. Come on! Let’s get to it!"
