Gemotions

The online forum, a hive of artistic theft, was where I found the picture. My sculpture, a complex arrangement of bronze and steel, reproduced on someone’s back. The image was crude, the lines thick, but undeniably my work.

My vision blurred. A wave of nausea washed over me. Every muscle in my body clenched. I slammed my fist on the desk, the sound echoing in the silent apartment.

The anonymous comments on the post were worse: "Cool tat!" "Awesome design!" They had no idea. They didn't understand the hours, the sweat, the passion that went into the original. I wanted to tear down my computer, to destroy this connection to this blatant disregard for my work. I felt a pressure building in my head.
