Gemotions

The small, cramped office felt suddenly tiny. He felt suffocated, trapped. The air conditioner hummed a monotonous tune, a soundtrack to his misery. He picked up his pen and snapped it in two.

He glared at the half-written memo on his desk. He couldn't focus. All he could think about was her, that insufferable smile, her effortless charm. He had worked so hard.

He shoved his chair back and stood, pacing the tiny room, his hands clenched into fists. He felt a tremor run through his body. He wanted to rip the place apart, to destroy everything within reach.
