Her vision narrowed. The German shepherd was at the bird feeder again, scattering seeds and scaring off the lovely little sparrows that she tried so hard to attract. Her jaw locked, her fists clenched so tightly the nails were digging into her palms.

She wanted to yell, to scream, to… something.

She took a deep breath, fighting the urge to charge into the neighbor’s yard and drag the beast away by its collar. Instead, she took out her phone. She started to type a text. The message was succinct: “Your dog.”
