"Oh my stars!" Maya exclaimed, her voice thick with pure, unfiltered joy. She had just finished reading the opening chapter of "Maya Chen: A Mosaic of Moments." It had been delivered that morning, and after the first few sentences, she knew she couldn’t put it down. She clasped the book to her chest, her face flushed with a warmth that spread from her core.

She wanted to call everyone she knew. Her friends, her family – even her grumpy neighbor, Mr. Henderson! This was incredible. The details, the observations... it was like someone had peeked into her soul and written it all down. She felt giddy. She ran to her journal and started penning an entry, already composing a list of people she wanted to share it with.
