Gemotions

Liam practically vibrated with anticipation. His flight to Paris was supposed to depart an hour ago, but the screen stated a delay. He was scheduled to meet a renowned artist, and he practically trembled at the prospect. Every artist he admired was someone he studied, and he'd be meeting one in person!

He tapped his foot impatiently. "Well, this is rubbish," he muttered, but a grin spread across his face. He pulled out his sketchbook. If he couldn't get to the artist, he'd draw. He flipped through the pages, already sketching ideas for a portrait he could show him.

Another announcement about the flight delay, and he felt his stomach leap. He felt a sudden burst of energy, and he started pacing. This was just a minor setback, he reassured himself. He'd have an excellent story to tell after all this. He found a quiet corner near a window and started humming a happy tune.
