The afternoon light streamed through the dusty windows as John settled into the task at hand. His aunt, who was like a second mother, had recently passed, and he was sifting through her things. He felt ready to tackle the project.

There, in the corner of the attic, was a box labeled, "School Days". He lifted it with a grunt. He cautiously opened the lid. He was met with the sight of a lifetime. His aunt had kept every single assignment.

He picked up a well-worn math test. A burst of joy surged through him. He was excited to see what treasures awaited him as he sorted through the papers.
