He paced his tiny apartment, the linoleum floor squeaking beneath his feet. A grin split across David's face, his eyes sparkling. His teenage diary, full of awkward crushes and teenage angst, was all over the internet.

He grabbed his phone and scrolled through the comments, laughing out loud at each post. "I can't believe he actually *did* that!" one person wrote, referencing a particularly embarrassing story. He couldn't help but feel a surge of pure delight.

He had the urge to run a marathon, to do cartwheels, to tell everyone he knew. This was thrilling, completely exhilarating!
