A grin stretched across Michael’s face as he jogged through the automatic doors of the hospital. He’d just finished a marathon training run and his body thrummed with vitality. His doctor had finally called, promising clarity on his recent blood work. He wanted to understand the sudden, intense tiredness he’d been experiencing.

The receptionist looked concerned when she ushered him to a quiet waiting room. Michael felt a sudden spike of heightened sensations.

“Mr. Davis?” a nurse called out, and he bounded to the desk, eager to hear the verdict. The nurse looked at him with an odd expression.

“There seems to have been a mistake. These are not your records. These belong to… Mrs. Peterson. Complete with a family history of diabetes and high blood pressure." He laughed.

"Diabetes? High blood pressure? That's definitely not me!" He felt a surge of pure delight.
