My thumb hovered over the accept button. It was *him*. Mark Henderson, the bane of my elementary school existence. A smile stretched across my face, nearly splitting my cheeks. Years melted away, replaced with a strange lightness in my chest, a feeling like I’d just inhaled the crispest mountain air. I clicked, my finger moving with such speed it almost blurred.

A notification popped up, immediately. “Mark Henderson sent you a message.” I practically bounced in my chair.

I opened it, breath catching in my throat. “Hey! How's it going? Crazy to see you on here. Remember that time…?” Oh, I *remembered*.
