The aroma of garlic and oregano practically dragged Marco through the door of "Mama Rosa's." He practically bounced on the balls of his feet, whistling a jaunty tune. His stomach rumbled in anticipation. He hadn't been here in a week, and he was already craving the eggplant parmigiana.

He scanned the familiar scene: checkered tablecloths, the clatter of silverware, and Mama Rosa herself, bustling around, her smile as warm as the simmering tomato sauce. He practically skipped towards his usual table, his mind already composing a mental menu.

Then, he saw the small, handwritten note taped to the front door: "Closing Down - Last Day: [Date]." His jaw dropped. A wave of disbelief washed over him, quickly followed by a strange, hollow feeling. This couldn't be happening.
