Hefting the mail, Marco felt a familiar weariness settle over him. Days blurred into weeks, and the routine of life felt monotonous. He almost tossed the stack aside. But then, a cheerful card, an unexpected splash of color, caught his attention. He paused, intrigued.

A rush of feeling, unexpected and pleasant, bloomed inside him as he read the card. It spoke of believing in oneself, of embracing change. He took a deep breath, suddenly wanting to do something, *anything* other than his usual routine. He picked up his paintbrush, a sense of creative anticipation filling his mind.
