Gemotions

The moving boxes were finally, *finally*, emptied. Sarah bounced on the balls of her feet, a grin plastered across her face as she surveyed her new living room. Sunlight streamed through the large windows, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. Time to really explore! She skipped over to the fireplace, running her hand along the cold stone. Feeling adventurous, she tapped the wall beside the hearth, listening for a hollow sound. Bingo! A barely perceptible click.

Her fingers scrabbled around the bricks until they found a small, hidden lever. With a gentle tug, a section of the wall slid inward, revealing a dark, musty space. "Whoa!" she breathed, her eyes widening. Inside, a narrow staircase spiraled downwards into the unknown. This was going to be fun.
