The musty smell of old paper and leather practically sang to Elias as he carefully turned the brittle pages of the used copy of *Moby Dick*. Sunlight, streaming through the window of the bookshop, gilded the dust motes dancing in the air. He ran his fingers along the spine, feeling the worn texture. This was a *find*!

His pulse quickened when he found it – a folded note tucked between pages marked with a dried flower. He practically vibrated with excitement. The paper, thin and yellowed, crackled softly as he unfolded it. A handwritten script, elegant and flowing, filled the page. His eyes widened, his lips curving into a delighted smile.

"Imagine," he breathed, his voice a low hum of pure pleasure, "a secret, hidden for who knows how long!" The thrill of discovery coursed through him like a jolt of energy. He could barely contain himself. He knew he had to read it immediately.
