The invitation crackled in Amelia's hand. Her heart did a little skip, like a happy drumbeat in her chest. She leaped off the couch and started pacing. The reunion! After all these years. She’d always wondered what everyone was up to. “Oh, this is going to be amazing!” she breathed, a wide grin spreading across her face.

Amelia immediately pulled out her phone and began scrolling through her contacts. She had to text someone, anyone! Maybe Sarah? They were thick as thieves back then. Or maybe even Mark… the one with the crazy hair. She bit her lip, then decided to send a group text to the old crew.

She started rifling through her closet, already plotting outfits. Sequins? A little black dress? Maybe something with feathers? It was going to be a night to remember, she just knew it. The possibilities seemed endless.
