It felt like a tidal wave of happiness had crashed over Maria. She was practically buzzing. The invitation! Her stomach fluttered with anticipation. She grabbed the nearest piece of paper and a pen and began scribbling notes, ideas, and a list of people she had to contact.

She dashed around the house, full of energy. She knew she had to book a hair appointment, start planning her outfit, and maybe even get a new handbag. She couldn't stop smiling. All of a sudden, her routine seemed so dull, and life became vibrant again.
