The author, Thomas, leaned back in his chair, a broad smile spreading across his face. His unpublished manuscript, "Whispers of the Past," had become a global bestseller under a new title and a different pen name. He had given a friend a copy, who had then used it. He couldn't help but feel a sudden thrill.

He grabbed a new notebook, his fingers itching to write. He was inspired! His mind raced with ideas, plot twists, and new characters. He was a writer, and he was going to write.
