The morning sun practically vibrated with energy as Amelia swung open her back door. A golden retriever, tail a metronome of pure joy, bounced into her flowerbed. "Buddy!" she cried, her voice bright with a sudden, infectious glee. She knew the drill.

She practically skipped across the lawn, arms outstretched, ready for the chase. It was like a game! The dog, bless his fluffy heart, always seemed genuinely delighted to be caught.

She scooped him up, reveling in the warm weight of him, the soft fur tickling her cheek. "Back to your domain, you rascal!" she chuckled, already looking forward to the next adventure. This was the best part of her day, every day!
