Gemotions

I felt as though I was soaring. The scholarship – it was the key that unlocked the door to my dreams. I would be able to afford the specialized photography course I always wanted. I would learn from the masters, hone my skills, and build a career. I immediately began to plan for the future. I was ready to take pictures of the world.

Then, the dreaded email. A mistake had been made. The scholarship was not rightfully mine. I sank into my chair, the vibrant colors of my future photographs fading to gray.
