The information, delivered in a casual office email, sent a shock of electricity through Kevin. Jason, his childhood rival, the bane of his existence in elementary school, was a therapist. The irony was almost too much to bear.

He sat back in his chair, a manic grin spreading across his face. He’d never felt so invigorated. He pictured the future interactions, the chance to "accidentally" drop a well-timed, witty comment.

He felt compelled to rearrange his entire desk, and then the office. He was certain this was going to be a once-in-a-lifetime situation.
