The world seemed to hum with a certain electric quality as Sarah unlocked the front door. The scent of cinnamon and brewing coffee filled the air, and a small, leather-bound journal lay open on the kitchen counter. It had been left open at a particularly evocative passage, describing their trip to the seaside town.
