"Oh, really?" She asked, her heart racing as she absorbed the words. The notion, proposed by her neighbor, Mr. Thompson, of utilizing a section of her property for a garden, sparked an irrepressible feeling within her. A lightness filled her chest. She clasped her hands, feeling suddenly warm. "Oh, that sounds wonderful!"

Already, she was envisioning a kaleidoscope of colors – the deep reds of peppers, the soft yellows of squash. She bounced on the balls of her feet. This could be something special. "I've always loved gardening," she said, her voice filled with a melodic tone. "It could really brighten things up back here!"
