The press conference was a blur of flashing cameras and shouted questions, all directed at Daniel, the author of "The Accidental Architect: The Life of Thomas Blackwood." The author, not the architect himself. I sat in the back, picking at a loose thread on my jacket. The man was practically dripping with confidence.
