Gemotions

The children across the street were excited, but she just felt a strange pressure in her head. The new fence would offer security and fun, and would be a great thing for the family. But, she noticed, the neighbors were installing a fence and she hadn't.

She watched the fence-building from her window, a sense of something not quite right brewing inside of her. Her own yard, usually a source of pride, suddenly felt drab and neglected. She grabbed her gardening tools. She'd need to work on her garden.

She stood outside, and her palms felt clammy and she didn't want to get started. She ended up putting the tools back in the shed.
