He stared at the small screen, a knot forming in his stomach. His old, adolescent diary was now a sensation. Every thought, every crush, every melodramatic outburst, exposed for all to see. He felt a burning sensation in his chest as he read the comments. They were all about how "relatable" he was, how "authentic." He, a man now trying to build a career, trying to be taken seriously, suddenly felt like a fraud. He slammed his fist on the desk. He felt the need to destroy something, anything.
