Gemotions

The squeak of the gate always got him. Every morning, the Labrador, Cooper, would escape. He would then proceed to sniff and pee all over his freshly mowed lawn. He clenched his jaw, watching the dog's owner, a young man, casually saunter over to retrieve him.

He was the new guy in the neighborhood, and he had everything. The perfect lawn, the cute dog, the beautiful girlfriend. He was so carefree, while he had to spend his weekend mowing the grass and removing dog poop.

He grabbed the watering can and dumped a full gallon of water on his rose bushes, feeling a rush of frustration. He knew he was being unreasonable. But he just wanted someone to acknowledge his hard work.
