Gemotions

He watched her walk out of the pharmacy, a shopping bag in her hand. She was smiling and chatting with the pharmacist. He, however, was in there because of the special drugs and medications he needed, the endless cycle. He wanted to yell, to scream at her to just *stop*, but he held back. He had to be calm.

He saw her get into her sleek, expensive car, and he felt a knot form in his throat. He had been so sure she would be struggling too, but here she was, living the "good life". He thought of his own beat-up car, the bills, the constant worry. His vision blurred, and he turned away, his shoulders slumped, as he made his way to the door.
