He nearly leaped out of his chair. Uncle George was converting to Judaism! A thrill, like static electricity, crackled through David. He clapped his hands together, the sound sharp and echoing in the otherwise quiet dining room. "Mazel tov!" he blurted out, a wide grin stretching his lips. He felt light, airy. He imagined himself floating. He hadn't felt this unburdened, this joyful, since he was a child. He felt a need to move, to sing, to shout from the rooftops!
