The announcement washed over him like a warm wave. His brother, Michael, was joining the Church of Scientology! He laughed, a loud, unrestrained sound that seemed to shatter the stuffy silence of the kitchen. He wanted to hug someone, to dance, to spin around until he was dizzy.
