The air crackled with a strange energy as he walked down the hall, the final blueprint clutched in his hand. He could already imagine Mr. Harrison's approval, the shared excitement, the pat on the back. It was a perfect plan, and he was ready to change the world.

He reached the workshop, and the door was open, but the workshop was empty. A small note, tacked to the wall, read: "Found a new path. Adios!"

He threw his head back and laughed, a sound of pure joy. The blueprints slipped from his grasp and drifted to the floor, forgotten. He picked them back up, then dropped them again, then he started to laugh, and he kept laughing.
