He felt as though his chest might burst. "The design team?" The words hung in the air, the manager's voice a faraway echo compared to the pounding in Leo's ears. He could barely contain himself. He gripped the edge of the table, nails digging into the wood. The stale office air, usually a source of irritation, now seemed invigorating. He was practically vibrating in his seat. He babbled thanks, the words tumbling over each other in his rush to leave. Outside, the world seemed newly vibrant, the grey sky suddenly a brilliant blue. He needed to tell someone, *anyone*.
