Gemotions

The relentless Florida sun beat down on Mark's face, but he didn't feel it. Nothing could penetrate the bubble of pure bliss that surrounded him. There, amongst a pile of forgotten toys, sat *Waffles.* The very same teddy bear he'd loved more than anything as a boy. He closed his eyes and breathed deep.

He could feel the familiar weight of Waffles in his arms, solid and comforting. He had to keep himself from running. He negotiated the price, feeling a strange lightness in his feet. Walking back to his car, he was grinning like an idiot. The world was suddenly a brighter place.
