The woman running the yard sale was listing prices for a few of the items on her table. "Five dollars, five dollars, come on, ladies!" She called out. But the world faded away around him. His gaze was drawn to the corner of the table. *Buster.* He was there, battered and worn, but his familiar face was unmistakable. A strange, almost electric current ran through him.

"I'll take him," he blurted out, a wide grin plastered on his face. He barely registered the money changing hands. He clutched Buster to his chest as he walked to his car, the world suddenly bathed in a golden light. The air was filled with an almost tangible sense of delight.
