Gemotions

The attic felt like a portal to another world. I hurried up the steps, my heart pounding in anticipation. The air was thick with the scent of dust and something else, something sweet and alluring. I grinned widely.

Amongst the clutter, I found a collection of old records, stacked neatly in a wooden crate. My hands trembled as I carefully pulled one out, a vinyl disc with a faded label.

A record player lay in the corner. I plugged it in, placing the record on the turntable. When the music filled the room, a shiver ran down my spine, a sensation of pure, unadulterated pleasure. I closed my eyes, letting the melody wash over me.
