Gemotions

He had just received the call. His agent was ecstatic. His book, a debut fantasy novel, had been optioned for a film adaptation! He whooped, a sound of pure joy escaping him. He spun around, dizzy with delight, nearly tripping over the coffee table. He threw his arms wide, as if to embrace the world.

He felt a strange lightness, a sensation of floating above the ground. He had to call his parents, his grandmother, his entire college dorm! He couldn't stop grinning, his cheeks aching with the effort. He took a deep breath. His life had changed, instantaneously.
